The Norris Middle School 8th Grade Choir is made up approximately 75 students at Norris Middle School.  The 8th Grade Choir meets every other day each week.  Developing students’ singing voices, aural skills, music reading skills, performance skills and an interest in choral music are all important components of the middle school choral program.  Performances for the choirs include a fall and spring concert, middle school music contest, and middle school musical.  The middle school musical tends to be the highlight of the year for many students.  8th graders are assigned the roles and 7th graders are assigned the musical chorus.
