Superintendent Contract
Notice is hereby given that Norris School District 160 has approval of a proposed Superintendent employment contract on its agenda for the meeting to be held on March 13th, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Norris School District Office Board Room, Firth, Nebraska. The annual salary for year one will be established at $190,000.00 for the 2022-23 school year, with the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school year salaries to be determined at a later date and thereafter unless adjusted as hereinafter provided.
As per Nebraska statute 79-2402, before the school board of any school district approves a proposed contract, or any proposed amendment to an existing contract, for future superintendent services to be rendered to such school district by the current superintendent, the board shall publish a copy of such proposed contract or amendment, and a reasonable estimate and a description of all current and future costs to the school district if the proposed contract or amendment were to be approved, at least three days before the meeting of the board at which such proposed contract or amendment will be considered. Such publication shall also specify the date, time, and place of the public meeting at which the proposed contract or amendment.
