Agriculture
The Norris Agricultural Education Department is made up of three major components. Classroom and Laboratory instruction provides the foundation of the program. Students have a wide variety of courses to choose from offered by two instructors: Emilia Brozek and Colin Kubik. See the Agriculture Classes below for a complete course description listing.
The second component of the Agriculture program is the Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE). This program allows students to apply classroom knowledge in the real world. The SAE promotes record keeping, entrepreneurial and communication skills.
The final component is the FFA. The Norris FFA Chapter provides students many opportunities, including agricultural and leadership competitions, educational workshops, national and international travel, as well as recreation.
