Reminder about tomorrow:
~Freshmen & Seniors - NO SCHOOL
~Sophomores: Pre-ACT in the high school south gym. Check in is 8:30-8:45am Be on
time. Bring a photo I.D. (Driver’s license or school I.D.) Enter the high school at the
WEST doors only. All other doors are locked.
~Juniors: ACT - 8:00 a.m. (check in no-later than 8:15 a.m.) Enter West doors, Check-in table
outside of the main office, then your assigned ACT room
Remember to bring a photo ID and your calculator
Do not bring your cell phone or smart watch
A snack during the break will be provided.
Pencils will be provided.
Do not bring any other items besides your photo ID (any food or drink, must be left in the hallway)
Sapphires Dance Team tryouts will be March 22, 23, 24, 25. Pick up tryout packets in the high school office.
Quiz Bowl is selling Butter Braids and Nothing Bundt Cakes to raise funds for our National Tournament that we qualified for in Chicago this summer. Orders are due by Thursday. March 23rd and will be delivered to the school on Tues. April 4th. See Mrs. Pair or any of the following members of the Quiz Bowl team (Grayson P., Mason S., Thomas C., Izzy L., or Pete W.) for details!
Norris Cheer Team Tryouts: March 20th- 24th. Tryout packets are in the HS office. Email Coach Krings if you have any questions!
Norris Big Band Dance - Come dance at the annual Big Band Dance on March 24th at 7pm! This event is hosted by the Norris Bands and will feature jazz bands from Norris High School, Norris Middle School, Lincoln Northeast High School, and Lincoln Southwest High School. All students/staff/community is invited! Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults. There will also be a raffle of dozens of prizes, as well as free dance lessons at 6:30pm. Stop by!
GSA - Our next meeting will be on Friday, March 24 in Ms. Ogg's room - S7 - bring some snacks to share and/or crafts to do together
Creative Writing Club - Our next meeting is on Thursday, March 23 in Ms. Ogg's room - S7 - come for some hot chocolate and awesome writing prompts
