Girls Wrestling: If you interested in being a part of the girls wrestling team this year, please sign up outside Mrs. Price’s room (E-9). There will be a meeting on Tuesday, October 22nd in Mrs. Price’s room at 3:30.
Swim Team: If you want to be a part of the swim team this year - please sign up in the high school office. There will be a mandatory meeting during Titan Time on Thursday, October 24 in the high school office.
Want to travel to the Swiss Alps and Mediterranean coast in July 2026 but couldn't make the meeting? No problem! See Mrs. Huenemann in the library to pick up information related to what's included, the cost, etc.
Book Club—Norris has started a book club run by students and is opening it up for others to join. Every month, students will select a book and meet weekly or biweekly to discuss. If interested, email Addison Dilley or Brayden Spilker by Friday, October 11th.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Nebraska Animal Medical Center is hosting a Truck or Treat on October 27th, 2024, from 4-7 PM in the large grass square next to our building. Our practice manager, Adam Forney, is an alumnus of Norris, and we would love for any clubs at the school to set up a booth! All the clubs, teams and organizations will need is a table and some candy. We will provide treats for any trick or treating pups. Our staff is decorating their tables, and Norris students are welcome to do so as well! Set up will begin at 3:30 PM, and everyone is welcome to dress in costume and join in the fun! Paper Moon Pastries in Cortland would like to help you out! They are looking for volunteers for the Once in a Blue Moon Fall Festival and Chili Cook Off on Saturday, October 12th in Cortland. Please see Mrs. Oelling in the Library to sign up!
