Show choir season off to a great start
Show choir season is off to a great start with two competitions under our belts. Norris Gold and 68th Street Singers competed at Gretna and UNL's Midwest Cup. Twelve different schools from Iowa and Nebraska competed at each contest, including schools such as Lincoln Southwest, Elkhorn South, Ankeny, Millard West, LIncoln East, Grand Island Northwest, etc. 68th Street Singers received 1st in their division at Gretna and 2nd runner-up at UNL. Norris Gold made finals at each competition (the top 6 typically make finals, regardless of school division.) They then went on to receive 4th runner-up at Gretna and 3rd runner-up at UNL. Norris Gold goes on to compete at Millard West this Saturday and both group performing at Lincoln Southwest on February 8th. Norris Gold will also be traveling to regionals in Branson, Missouri, at the end of March, to end what has already began as a fun season!
