Over 25 Norris TeamMates mentors and board were honored at an appreciation luncheon at the Norris Middle School library. Mentors shared what mentoring means to them and activities ideas. It is heartwarming to hear about the special experiences that the mentors shared about their time with their mentees. 

While mentees enjoy having an adult to spend time with them one-on-one, a common theme is that mentors feel they get more out of mentoring than mentees. Mary Ann Franken, Teammates coordinator, along with Jamie Kerns, Denise Petsche, and Mary Jean TeKolste helped arrange the celebration. Meeting with students does make a difference for each student.
