Hello! My name is MacKenzie Armstrong, and I am a 5th grade teacher. I love to read and help students become life-long learners! In my classroom, we will focus on reading and writing skills and strategies. 

My husband, Caleb, and I live in Adams with our two children, Charley and Crosby. We also have three dogs: Tucker, Reese, and Belle. We love spending time outdoors going for walks and playing at the park, going to the zoo, and watching movies together as a family. 

I was born and raised in Lincoln and began my career in education with Lincoln Public Schools. I attended Nebraska Wesleyan University for my undergrad, where I played volleyball. Then, I went to Doane University for my Masters of Curriculum and Instruction.
